ESN - ELECTROMECHANICS SYNERGY NETWORK

A group of visionary entrepreneurs created ESN - Electromechanics Synergy Network - a new business network in the electromechanical sector with the aim of facing the challenges of the present with strength and cohesion, and actively influencing the national and European regulatory overview.

ESN responds to an increasingly urgent strategic need: defend and revitalize a key industrial sector, currently threatened by distorted global dynamics. The stakes are high. The European supply chain for transformers and electric motors is under heavy pressure due to rising imports from countries such as China and India. These imports, driven by significantly lower prices (up to 40% less), disrupt the balance of the European Single Market and jeopardize the survival of local SMEs.

The consequences:

  • Drastic reduction in the competitiveness of European companies
  • Real risk of closure for many businesses in the sector
  • Loss of thousands of jobs
  • Weakening of the EU’s industrial fabric

ESN was created precisely to counteract this downward trend, by joining the sector’s forces to:

  • Promote more effective safeguard measures that also include semi-finished products
  • Build strong and recognized representation at an institutional level
  • Support the ecological transition without sacrificing competitiveness, as has already happened in other sectors, such as the steel industry (e.g., the Arcelor case)

ESN aims to be a concrete and collective response to the risk of industrial desertification, helping to create a fair, competitive, and sustainable regulatory environment for European electromechanical companies.
